Eintracht wanted $108 million but must play ball
Paris Saint-Germain has made a new offer for Eintracht Frankfurt's striker Randal Kolo Muani. This time, the proposal is estimated at $70 million plus Hugo Ekitike and a few more millions in potential bonuses. The Parisians really want the 24-year-old former Nantes man!
Negotiations for Muani's arrival at Parc des Princes were set to enter a critical phase at the beginning of the week. PSG sent a new offer to Eintracht Frankfurt after further discussions. The offer was $70 million, not including bonuses, and included 21-year-old Ekitike going the opposite direction. Now it's all up to the former Reims youngster. If he decides to fight for his place in the PSG team, the Parisians would have to increase the cash part of the bid. Frankfurt's response to the offer is currently unknown as it's a developing story.

The two clubs are still in negotiations, hoping to reach a compromise before the transfer window closes on 1 September. Previous reports had indicated that Kolo Muani had made a verbal agreement with PSG, which could potentially give the French club an advantage in securing a reduced transfer fee. The Germans started the talks with the price tag of $108 million for the French international but may be tempted into lowering their demands as the time continues to run out on the transfer window.
