Angry Frank: ‘There is a hurricane inside me‘
Reading Time: 3min | Mon. 15.12.25. | 12:11
The Spurs have totally collapsed in the Premier League
It looked so good in September and October. Thomas Frank took over Tottenham and the success was instant – only one defeat in his first 10 days in all competition. Money was spent again and new signings arrived to make the Spurs even stronger. And then it all happened again. The North London club started to lose game and they lost them badly and against inferior oponents (some of them are even relegation strugglers). The last in line was a 3-0 thrashing by Nottingham Forest (their biggets over Spurs since 1987).
Tottenham have now only won 1 out of their last 7 Premier League games and are 11th on the table. And even the usually composed Frank was furious.
“We decided to throw the ball away to them 25 times. You can’t do that. If you play a game like we did, it is very disappointing and I am burning, angry. It’s not the first time we have seen it. I think I do everything to control my emotions. There is a hurricane inside me, because, it's deeply frustrating we are not doing better here after three good performances. I think it is extremely important to be calm and measured and of course, have very direct and clear messages“ said the Dane.

What looked like a great start now looks like a job half-done. From winning with a new team to losing, where it should have been the other way around. So, Spurs fans once again have to watch they old rivals Arsenal playing great and topping the league while their coach only offers another rebuild.
“I was also very honest – this was a very bad performance. No two ways about that, but also know that to change this, this will take some time. No one will want to hear about that. It's just reality. I think the ones who have followed the club and the team, it's fair to say there's been a few not too consistent performances, and that's the thing. We are working very hard. If no-one gets time, nothing gets changed. This is not a quick fix“ said the Dane.
