Tensions were boiling at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples on Wednesday night, but Victor Osimhen proved there's no reason to worry about. After the 24-year-old was taken off the pitch by Rudi Garcia in the Partenopei's recent draw with Bologna, where he missed a penalty, Osimhen reacted furiously. He even had a feud with the French coach on the touchline.
Things went from bad to worse for Osimhen after Napoli's official TikTok posted two videos mocking him, the first making fun of his missed penalty and the second comparing him to a coconut. The striker was enraged, and his agent, Roberto Calenda, threatened legal action.
However, thankfully, Osimhen was given a round of applause from the Neapolitans tonight before the kick-off against Udinese. He responded with a superb performance, scoring a goal in the 39th minute. His quick feet helped him double Napoli's lead over Udinese, and he celebrated by running to the bench to hug new signing Jesper Lindstrom.
In the 63rd minute, with the team 2-0 up, he was taken off the pitch and replaced by Giovanni Simeone.

Moreover, another Napoli top star, Khvicha Kvaratschelia, showed signs of resurrection as he scored his first goal since March and assisted Simeone for the last one of their side.
