Sofapaka goalkeeper aims at atoning for the red card and three goals conceded last month
Sofapaka goalkeeper Moubarak Aigba intends to atone for the red card and three goals conceded against Nairobi City Stars with nearly a flawless performance in between the sticks when league action resumes next week.
The Togolese goalkeeper was on the receiving end of backlash for a unnecessary off the ball incident against the league returnees at the Ruaraka grounds late last month which saw centre referee Nyabera Libese sent him off in the first half.
The glove man was shown a straight red card for apparently elbowing Nicholas Kipkirui in the full glare of the officials.

Aigba who conceded to have offered an apology to his teammates said he was stepping up behind the scenes to keep back to back clean sheets once he completes his ban.
The custodian will watch the proceedings from the stands when the wounded Sofapaka confront AFC Leopards in their next match.
"The best apology to give to the team is by ensuring that we don't concede goals in our league matches. I would have done better against City Stars but I promise I will be back stronger," he said.

For the time the shot-stopper who was part of the Togo team which participated in the last edition of the CHAN championship has been suspended, Sofapaka were forced to turn to second choice Kevin Omondi to man the goal.
Omondi joined the 2009 league champions in August last year from Wazito.
