Gabriel Mascardo, 19, of Corinthians, has already agreed personal terms with the Saints

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on an agreement with Corinthians for Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Moscardo. The Brazilian youth international, 19, is apparently set to move to Paris for a financial package worth a combined €25m.

Ahead of Wednesday night's Ligue 1 clash against Metz, PSG are finalizing the deal with Mascardo and are close to beating Chelsea, who were also very interested in his services.

The agreed fee between PSG and Corinthians is an initial €22m guaranteed fee with an additional €3m to be paid in performance-related add-ons.

Moscardo has already agreed personal terms with the Saints, and it seems the Brazilian prospect won't be the only player from this country to join PSG in the upcoming transfer window.

According to French media, they are also targeting Sao Paulo defender Lucas Beraldo. The 19-year-old defender is also expected to cost somewhere in the region of €25m and could even have a medical this week.
