The Saudi club are obviously on a spending spree that will affect the English Premier League too

It started as a commotion after that Cristiano Ronaldo's move last year. But now, it's a proper earthquake in the world of football. Saudi Arabian clubs are pulling no punches as they're eager to dominate the scene by inking not just veterans but top European players in their prime.

Al-Hilal is the latest to engage in this spending spree, and after sealing the deal with Lazio's ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, they're after a much bigger fish - Manchester City's Bernardo Silva.

According to CBS Sports, they are ready to pay â‚¬220 million in total for the Portuguese midfielder.

To be precise, Al-Hilal would offer â‚¬70 million to City as well as â‚¬50 million euros per year to the player for a three-year contract. Currently on vacation, the 28-year-old attacking midfielder has not yet decided on his future. Still, he has got four options on the table: to extend his contract at Manchester City, join Al-Hilal, PSG or Barcelona.

As per CBS, Al-Hilal want to be confident and think they can take advantage of Barca's economic weakness as well as the vagueness reigning in Paris concerning the future of Kylian Mbappe.

Moreover, Mozzart Sport sources tell us the same club is after another EPL star - Fulham's impeccable striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Mitro has scored 38 goals in 128 EPL appearances. During the last season, in 24 league games, he found the back of the net 14 times.

He arrived at Craven Cottage in 2018, while his first stint on English soil was at Newcastle upon a transfer from Anderlecht in 2015.
