Odire exits after six years at the den.
AFC Leopards Physiotherapist Bonaventure Odire has confirmed departure from the club becoming the latest victim of the purge being witnessed at the den.
Odire departs after six years at the den. He joined Leopards in 2017 initially as a volunteer and after impressing as a volunteer, he was offered a deal in 2019 and sharpened his skills further under team doctor Patrick Ngusale.
The recent shakeup at the den has seen Odire sent packing. Club head coach Tom Juma and goalkeepers trainer Lawrence Webo have also exited after what has been a disappointing start to the season by Leopards. Six matches in, the club remains winless this campaign.
The medic has confirmed his departure from the den in an interview with Mozzart Sport.
"It is true I have left Leopards. My time here has come to an end and I want to thank them for the opportunity they offered me and wish them well," he said.
The Physiotherapist is victim of a purge that has been witnessed at the den in the last one week as the club's management moves to arrest what has been a terrible start to the new season. The club remains second last in the log.
Apart from members of the technical bench, the club has also opted to axe CEO Victor Bwibo who departs after five years. Former team manager Albert Wesonga is set to succeed Bwibo.
Czech coach Tomas Trucha is set to return to the den as head coach. The tactician is expected to fly in any moment from now before the club's next league assignment against Bandari FC in Mombasa.
He will be deputised by Fred Ambani who was Juma's assistant. Former club captain Bernard Mang'oli returns to the club as team manager while former Tusker FC and Harambee Stars goalkeeping coach Haggai Azande will succeed Webo.
