The meeting will address crucial issues, including the club’s financial report from the past year and plans to transition into a corporate structure aimed at attracting external investors

AFC Leopards have had to adjust the date of their Annual General Meeting (AGM) following the rescheduling of the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby against Gor Mahia.

Ingwe will now host their archrivals on Sunday, March 30, at Nyayo Stadium.

The match was initially postponed earlier this month due to a lack of a suitable venue, but the newly confirmed date has now interfered with the club’s AGM plans.

Originally set for March 30 at the Nyayo Stadium basketball court, the AGM has now been pushed back to March 29.

The club has assured members that the new venue will be confirmed on Monday, March 24.

The club’s annual general meeting that was scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, has now been moved to March 29, 2025. The venue will be communicated on Monday, March 24, after confirmation,” the AFC Leopards announced in an official statement on Saturday.

The meeting will address crucial issues, including the club’s financial report from the past year and plans to transition into a corporate structure aimed at attracting external investors.

Leopards’ Task Force Corporate Committee recently submitted its report on the club’s future, emphasizing the need to shift away from the community-based model that has contributed to financial struggles.

“The club's NEC officials appreciate the Task Force Corporate Committee for presenting their report on March 3, 2025, after a six-month mandate to explore the club’s transition to a corporate model. We are grateful for their time and dedication as their mandate concludes,” the club stated earlier this month.

Additionally, the AGM will kickstart preparations for the club’s upcoming elections, set for June 29. With current chairman Dan Shikanda completing his two-term tenure, the club will elect a new leader to steer the team forward.
