TFF also revealed that experienced tactician's salary and allowances will be fully catered for by the Tanzania Government.
The Algerian-Belgian football coach has had a diverse coaching career spanning over two decades. He started his coaching career in 1997 as an assistant coach for the Algerian club ES Setif. He then went on to coach several Algerian clubs including MC Alger, JS Kabylie, and CA Batna.
In 2007, Amrouche took his coaching talents abroad and became the head coach of the Burundi national team.
In 2013, Amrouche was appointed as the head coach of the Kenyan national team with his tenure, although short-lived, being relatively successful. He was then replaced after a change of regime in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) which prompted him to report Kenya to FIFA and he was consequently rewarded handsomely - earning a total of Ksh 109 Million.
After leaving Kenya in 2014, Amrouche coached several other African clubs including Libyan side Al-Ittihad, Libya, Botswana and Yemen National teams.
Amrouche has gained a reputation for his tactical acumen and ability to motivate his players.
