AIK had to come from a goal down as Vasteras went ahead early in the second half.

The Kenyan duo of Collins Sichenje and Henry Meja made it to the starting line up when Swedish top tier side AIK came from a goal down to play Vasteras to a one all draw on Tuesday in a friendly match.

The Kenyan youngsters who are in their maiden season with the club earned slots in the starting team in a game that the top guns were rested ahead of this weekend's match against Kalmar.

Among those who were rested is Harambee Stars left back Eric 'Marcelo' Ouma whose form with the club has procured him interests from other European clubs.

After a goalless first half, Vasteras went ahead but AIK had Tom Strannegard to thank as his freekick goal late in the second half evened the scores for them.

Elsewhere, Harambee Stars trialist Phillip Mayaka had a bad day in office on Monday as his side Colorado Rapids II went down 2-0 to Sporting KC II at the State University of Denver Stadium.

Mayaka who is on loan to Rapids junior team and who was on a yellow card was hauled off in the 57th minute for Maclovio Swett.

Sporting got the lead through Cole McLagan in the 52nd minute before Julian Vazquez putting the result beyond the reach of Rapids in the 70th minute.
