AC Milan's youngster breaks Gigio's record; Derby della Mole is up

Another example of a famous saying, "one man's loss is another man's gain," comes from the Italian Serie A. Alvaro Morata suffered a head injury in a training session after colliding with his teammate Strahinja Pavlovic and won't be able to help his teammates in Cagliari today (20.00). Yet, the Spaniard's injury suddenly opened space for a new page of AC Milan's history as Francesco Camarda, aged 16 years and 241 days, will become the youngest-ever starter in the club's history, breaking Gianluigi Donnarumma's record by only one day!

The forward is already Milan's youngest-ever player in Serie A, noting an appearance at 15 years and 260 days and his place in the starting XI was confirmed by the gaffer Paulo Fonseca at the press conference.

A special day for Italian football will be complete tonight, as Juventus and Torino will face in the 159th edition of Derby della Mole at Allianz Stadium in Turin. Bianconeri need a win to continue pursuing the leaders Napoli, while their city rivals eye getting back on track after triumphing only once in the last six matches.

Moreover, Torino last won the Derby nine years ago, in April 2015, which makes the Old Lady a firm favourite. Still, their last encounter at Stadio Olimpico di Torino ended in a goalless draw, as Il Toro held out and salvaged a tie.
