
Abuya comes of the bench to help Nkana beat Namungo

Calabar, Odhoji whipped in Cameroon
Harambee Stars midfielder Duke Abuya rose from the bench to aid Nkana edge Tanzania's Namungo FC by a solitary goal in a Caf Confederation Cup pool D match staged at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
Abuya was thrown early in the 25th minute replacing Stephen Chulu in a match which the Zambian champions were seeking to capitalize on home advantage and revive their hopes of securing a place in the knockout stages.
Congolese national Freddy Tshimenga settled the contest after finding the back of the net in the 71st minute.
Following the win, Nkana sit third in the pool with six points, three shy of leaders Raja Casablanca who play Pyramids in their fourth fixture of the pool. The Egyptian outfit sits second with six points eclipsing Nkana courtesy of their healthier goal difference.
While Abuya was glad to help his side register a win, his counterparts David'Calabar' Owino and Shaban Odhoji who turn for Napsa Stars were on the receiving end of Cotonsport wrath after falling 5-1 at the Stade Omnisport Roumde Adija.
Lambert Araina broke the deadlock for the Cameroonian side in the 21st minute before Souaibou Marou doubled the lead in the 35th minute.
Sibiri Sanou squeezed the third goal for the hosts in the 70th minute as Ferdel Ebandza scored the fourth.
Tombi Alemi put the icing on the Cotonsport cake in the dying minutes of the game.
Napsa who are winless in pool A netted their consolation goal through Doisy Soko.
Calabar who was booked in the 80th minute clocked full time while Odhoji was a unused substitute.
