Alejandro Garnacho is expressing his stance on his current club in a somewhat bizarre way, as well as showing regret over the Manchester club
Alejandro Garnacho has once again found himself at the center of transfer talk after removing all Chelsea-related posts from his official TikTok profile. The Argentine winger also shared old clips highlighting his time at Manchester United, not long after openly admitting he still has regrets about leaving Old Trafford.
Since completing his £40 million switch to Chelsea, Garnacho has struggled to secure a consistent place in the starting lineup. Although he has made 38 appearances in all competitions this season, he has largely played a secondary role, starting just 14 Premier League matches.

According to talkSPORT, Garnacho wiped his TikTok clean of Chelsea content and re-uploaded two videos dedicated to his spell at United. In a recent interview, he spoke honestly about his departure from the club, underlining the emotional connection he still feels with the side where he developed. While taking some responsibility for how things ended, he made it clear that the support he received from United fans still means a lot to him.
Reflecting on his exit, Garnacho said: "Maybe yes, because I loved that club. They gave me the confidence from the start. From Spain, to bring me to the academy, then they bring me to the first team. So it was like four or five years, and amazing love from everyone. I remember in the last six months I was just not playing like before at Manchester United. I started to be on the bench, it's not a bad thing. I was only 20-years old, but in my mind it was like I had to play every game. In my mind, maybe it is also on me, I started to do some bad things."
Despite acknowledging his mistakes, Garnacho stressed that he remains fully committed to Chelsea and focused on his current role at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking about his situation and future ambitions, he added: "But yes, it was just this moment in life and sometimes you have to make decisions and I am really proud to be here [at Chelsea] and still in the Premier League at a club like this. Everyone knows the team we have and the things we can do. Sometimes, we have better moments or worse moments, I am proud to be here but with United, I have nothing wrong to say about the club, no one in the club or the team-mates. It's just a moment in life that changes and life continues."

Although his contract runs until 2032, questions remain over what the summer holds for Garnacho, particularly if Chelsea take issue with his recent social media activity. Vice-captain Enzo Fernandez was recently handed a two-match suspension after hinting at a potential move to Real Madrid, missing both the FA Cup victory over Port Vale and a league loss to Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Marc Cucurella avoided punishment despite admitting that a return to Barcelona would be “difficult to refuse.” All of this leaves Liam Rosenior’s squad under scrutiny, as the club weighs up whether Garnacho still fits into their long-term plans.
