For the first time, Mane talked about his future with the Reds
Changing the club is a very important step in any footballer’s career, no matter who good the player is. That goes for Sadio Mane, who is a Liverpool and African star and who is about to make a switch, not only to another club, but to another league. It is widely expected that the Senegalese international will leave Anfield Road and join another European giants – Bayern Munich, and on Friday, Mane gave his biggest indication yet, as he talked about his future in England. It’s also striking that he appears to take fans poll results into account in order to decide his future??

At a press conference ahead of Senegal's African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin, Mane was asked for his response to a poll about his future.
"Like everyone else, I'm on social media and I see the comments. Isn't it between 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese that want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they want. We will see soon! Don't be in a hurry because we'll see this together" said Mane.
The Senegal international flourished in the second half of the season, having scored 13 of his 23 goals after winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal at the start of the year. According to reliable sources from Germany, Sane has agreed personal terms with Bayern as they offered him a salary almost four times higher than the current one in Liverpool - 20 million euros gross per season which is close to 10 million euros net. Mane's current contract in Liverpool is 100,000 pounds gross per week. That is approximately a little more than 2.5 million euros net per season.

But, the stumbling block could be Liverpool’s willingness to cash in on a 30 year old player who has one more year on his contract. Sky Germany are reporting that Bayern will offer Liverpool 30 million euros plus between 5 and 10 million in bonus payments and give Mane a contract until the summer of 2025, but the Reds want more. Manager Jurgen Klopp was asked about the Bayern rumors at his pre-match press conference in Paris and his answer was non-committal.
"Wherever Sadio will play next year, he will be a big player" said the Reds boss.
At the beginning of last season, Liverpool had a number of first team players with contacts expiring in two years’ time, and in time, they managed to tie most of them, but the fantastic trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah still remains unsigned. It’s not all possible that Liverpool will start the 2022 season without all three.
