The Saudis won't stop when it comes to buying mega stars
Current Barcelona forward Raphinha is currently considered one of the top contenders for this season’s Ballon d’Or, thanks to the outstanding results he's achieved under coach Hansi Flick. His stats include 48 appearances, with involvement in 53 goals—scoring 30 and assisting 23. Naturally, such numbers and performances have drawn significant attention!

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Saudi club Al Hilal is desperate to sign Raphinha and is preparing a package worth 300 million euros to land the Barcelona star. Reports suggest the Catalans would be offered 100 millions, while the player would receive a four-year contract in the desert with a salary of 50 millions per year.
This isn’t entirely surprising considering Al Hilal recently lost their superstar Neymar, who returned to Santos. However, sources from Catalonia claim that Barcelona has no intention of selling the Brazilian despite the financial difficulties the club is facing. Nevertheless, the club is prepared to let the final decision rest with the player himself, making anything possible at this stage.

According to Sport, Raphinha’s contract—set to run until 2027—will play a key role in any potential transfer. Talks about extending that contract have currently been paused. Barcelona reportedly wants to offer him a relatively short-term deal with higher wages, while the Brazilian would prefer a long-term agreement. Amid all this, the Saudis have stepped in, hoping to lure Raphinha with a massive financial offer.
