Paris Olympics gold medallist Sha’Carri Richardson is back in action as she prepares for a busy 2025 track season.

The 24-year-old American sprinter shared glimpses of her training sessions on Instagram, offering fans a peek into her intense preparations with Elite Track Club, led by coach Dennis Mitchell.

Training alongside world-class athletes like Christian Coleman and Kenny Bednarek, Richardson is setting her sights on even greater success.

The 2024 season marked a fresh chapter for Richardson, following a stellar Olympic year where she claimed two medals in Paris.

Despite missing out on the 200m finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials, Richardson’s determination paid off as she clinched a silver medal in the 100m with a time of 10.87 seconds.

She followed this with a sensational gold in the 4x100m relay, running the anchor leg to secure victory for Team USA.

After concluding her season with two appearances in the Diamond League, Richardson kept a relatively low profile, choosing to focus on recovery and preparation.

Her recent Instagram post showcased her commitment, featuring clips of her weight training in the gym and sprints on a soccer field.

Heart bigger than my body ❤️🔥,” she captioned the post.

Richardson attributes much of her success to the collaborative and supportive environment fostered by her training teammates.

Speaking about their bond, she highlighted the importance of accountability and mutual encouragement in their journey toward excellence.

We have those building conversations where we complement each other’s talents as well as complement each other’s strengths. But also, we have those uncomfortable conversations about holding each other accountable... We embrace each other’s weaknesses and help each other build up on those moments,” she said.

These conversations, Richardson explained, are pivotal in pushing each athlete to surpass their limits while maintaining a collective spirit of growth.
