"I am happy for this time in my first race outdoors this year but I plan to dip under 9.80 in the final on Saturday. I am happy that my body has responded well to training and it is a good place to be this early in the season.
The plan for this season is to win the world championships and the Diamond League trophy," Omanyala offered.
The two-day event gunned off on Friday 24 February with athletes competing for ranking points as the event has been enlisted as a World Athletics (WA) Competition Ranking.
