Seville took over the world lead from American Christian Miller who ran 9.93 seconds in April.
Ferdinand Omanyala's march to the Paris Olympics continues as he raced his fourth 100m this season, clocking 10.02 seconds for third place.
Competing against a stacked field at the Racers Grand Prix, an annual track meet held at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica, on Saturday, the African record holder seemed to have fumbled his start but his acceleration in the last 50m saw him move from the back of the field to place third.
