Ochutsi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), of both the London and Nairobi Chapters and a Commissioner for Oaths. He is a Member of the Disciplinary and Arbitral Committee of the International Federation of Martial Arts and is the Secretary of the Independent Disciplinary and Arbitral Committee of the Football Kenya Federation.
