Reading Time: 1min | Sun. 17.04.22. | 03:42
Shujaa will not contest for the main cup after losing to England and Fiji.
2016 Singapore 7s champions, Shujaa suffered a 19-12 defeat at the hands of England after conceding a last-minute try from Jamie Anderson to crash out of the main cup.
The all-familiar pattern from Kenya was again on show in the England clash as Shujaa suffered a poor start to the game with Dan Norton who is the record holder for the most tries scored in the series touching down with Freddie Roddick adding the extras.

England added a second through Jamie Barden with Shujaa having little time with the ball in hand inside the opening three minutes of the game.
Innocent Simiyu’s halftime team talk was made easier when Bush Mwale who has been fantastic in the Vancouver leg crossed the whitewash to go into the interval trailing 12-7.
Shujaa continued from where they left in the first half as Kevin Wekesa dived into the try line for his third try in Vancouver but the kick was poor as the game was locked in a 12-all scoreline.
England however dug deep to upset Kenya with a last gasp try from Jamie Anderson who raced over the try line on the left flank to ensure a 19-12 win.
