Kenya finish Pool matches with a clash against England at 3:07 am.

Shujaa were brought down back to earth following a 38-7 humbling at the hands of reigning Singapore 7s champions Fiji in the Vancouver 7s.

Kenya posted an impressive start to the tournament after edging the USA 19-17 to hand themselves a perfect chance of returning to the main cup contention.

Innocent Simiyu’s charges have failed to post a decent start to games in the last two legs of the series and again had a lethargic start with Waisea Nacuqu crossing the whitewash inside the opening minute.

It did not take long for Fiji to add their second through Vuiviawa Naduvalu after the Kenyan defense was caught napping, having no answers to stop a rampaging Fiji side.

The Flying Fijians went into the half time break with a 21-0 lead courtesy of a try from Vakurunabili Joshua with Ben Gollins boys being excellent with their conversions.

Fiji picked up from where they left in the second half when Elia Canakaivata crossed the whitewash with Kaminieli Rasaku adding another try straight from restart.

Alvin Marube ensured Kenya evaded a shutout in the match as he raced from the halfway line to touch down with Levi Amunga adding the extras.

Fiji were not done yet as Jeremia Matana drilled the final nail in Shujaa’s coffin with a try in stoppage time to ensure the game ended 38-7.
