Kenya are set to play South Africa at 10:40 am and Canada at 2:05 pm.
A botched kick from Daniel Taabu in front of the sticks with seconds left on the clock handed the USA a nervy 12-10 win over Shujaa in their opening game of the Singapore 7s on Saturday 9 April.
Shujaa arrived into the tournament after close to three months of preparation having last played in the Seville 7s back in late January where they finished ninth.

A couple of ball handling errors cost both sides in the opening minutes of the game that kept the scoreboard intact but American speed demon Perry Baker finally touched down on the left flank to hand the USA a 5-0 lead in the fourth minute.
Innocent Simiyu’s charges finally got things going in the final minute of the first half when a hat-trick of offloads finally opened space for Tony Omondi to touch down but despite him finding the post with his conversion the referee called time out for both teams to head into the break locked on a five all score line.
The closing half had a mirror start to the first half as both teams fought tooth and nail but just lacked the flair to slice each other’s defense and convert pressure into points.
Shujaa will begin their Singapore 7s campaign with a clash against the USA, before taking on South Africa and Canada in their subsequent Pool A fixtures at the tournament.

Kenya struggled to contain the USA’s pace as Kevon Williams went on a lung bursting run from his own half to touch down with Folau Niua adding the extras for a 12-5 lead.
With the USA applying the pressure Edmond Anya brilliantly intercepted a Kevon Williams pass to show a clean pair of heels and race to cross the whitewash but an abysmal kick from Daniel Taabu just in front of the sticks saw Kenya go down 12-10 when they had the chance to level things with the kick.
