Shujaa plundered and gave away their lead twice as Scotland handed them their third loss in four matches at the ongoing Malaga 7’s despite being in front at half time.
Jeffrey Oluoch dotted first for Kenya four minutes in the game after receiving an offload from Alvin Otieno in a bright start to the match, with Johnstone Olindi being magnificent on conversion duty to give Shujaa the 7-0 lead.
Scotland got their first try through their captain Jamie Farndale moments after losing Billy Odhiambo to a yellow card but they could not find their conversion to head into the breather level.

Vincent Onyala who has been Shujaa’s shining light in an otherwise dark leg continued his purple patch, getting the second try, a sixth in the tournament, for Kenya after the restart of the second period after Daniel Taabu had worked brilliantly from a scrum feed, extending Shujaa's lead to 12-5.
Harvey Elms spoilt the party for Shujaa two minutes later, scoring the second try for Scotland after overpowering Herman Humwa as Gavin Lowe got the conversion right to level the scores.
Paddy Kelly drove the last nail, scoring at the stroke of full time to give Scotland the lead for the first time and complete the comeback, condemning Shujaa to the 13th place semis.

Back-to-back losses at the hands of Canada and Wales ensured Kenya would not make it to the Main Cup quarter-finals ending their consecutive appearances at the stage in both Dubai legs of the series despite putting up a good show in the last group match against France.
Shujaa will now take on Japan for the 13th place semi-final at 2:19 PM EAT on Sunday.
