The Sugarmen have also named their squad that will be in action against Shamberere in the Lake Victoria 15s quarters
Kenya Cup champions Kabras RFC have made a significant addition to their squad, signing Strathmore Leos forward Gabriel Adero and former Nakuru RFC prop Michael Mare.
Adero is an experienced utility forward who captained Kenya during the Africa Under 20 championships in 2016 and 2017.
He also received his first Kenya Simbas call-up in 2017.
Mare, on the other hand, was part of the squad that saw Nakuru RFC register an improved performance in the 2022/23 Kenya Cup season, where they narrowly missed the playoffs to finish sixth.
At the same time, the Sugarmen have named their squad that will be in action against Shamberere in the Lake Victoria 15s quarters.
Gibson Perez starts as a hooker and is assisted by Steve Oluoch and Darrel Ogot in the front row.

Clinton Litawi and Andrew Wangila are in the engine room, while Fortune Arturo, John Baraka, and Biden Hayo make up the back row.
Felix Bukhutse has been tasked with scrum half duties and will deliver with former MMUST playmaker Eric Cantona who starts at fly-half.
Flavian Otiyo gets a nod to start at full-back and is covered on both wings by James Olela and Duncan Shighali.
Olela was part of the Kenya Chipu team that participated in the U20 Barthes Cup and the World Rugby U20 Trophy. Victor Otieno and Brian Kiptanui are at the center.
The likes of Isaiah Mulongo, Patrick Lumumba, Collins Osore, and Allan Ojango start on the bench.
The Sugarmen who boast of 15 players in the 15’s national team; Simbas, will be using this match as their springboard ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 Kenya Cup season that will kick off on November 25.
If their performance in their preseason friendly match against Kenya Simbas is anything to go by, the Kenya Cup defending champions could be on the right track.
They saw off Simbas 25-20 in the closely contested match played at the ASK Kakamega Showground on Thursday 26 October.
In other Lake Victoria 15s quarterfinal matches, Mbale RFC will lock horns with Sigalagala RFC while Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby welcomes Kibabii. Kisumu RFC will take on Kitale RFC at the MMUST Grounds.
The semi finals are set for November 4, while the finals are slated for November 11.
