No team outside the top flight league managed to advance to the quarter finals of the cup competition
Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has confirmed the fixture pairings for the quarter-final stage of the Enterprise Cup tournament that is currently ongoing after the completion of the 2021/2022 Kenya Cup season.
In matches set for this weekend 26 Saturday 2022, eight teams that advanced from the pre-quarterfinal matches played last week will lock horns against each other for a place in this year’s semis.
Newly crowned Kenya Cup winners and defending Enterprise Cup champions Kabras Sugar will welcome Nondies to their backyard at the Kakamega Showground. While Nondies dispatched Western Bulls 36-10 to qualify to the next round, the sugar men were handed an easy passage to the last eight as they were given a 28-0 walkover as their opponents Mean Machine failed to show up due to the fact that they were playing another crucial match in the KRU Championship semifinals.

Trailing 8-18 at the break, they dug deep and eventually secured the 34-28 victory at the Bull Ring.

In fixtures taking place in Nairobi, KCB RFC are set to host Kenyatta University side Blak Blad at the KCB Sports Club. KCB face another varsity side after knocking out Strathmore Leos in the previous round. Same as Kabras, Blad were also handed a walkover after Mombasa RFC’s no show.

Mwamba, who also got a walkover against Kisumu RFC, will go to take on Homeboyz RFC at the Jmahuuri Grounds. The Deejayz just sneaked through after a hard fought 19-24 win over Kenya Harlequin.
In the last pairing, Impala Saracens, who caused the biggest upset of the weekend by knocking out Kenya Cup finalists Menengai Oilers 24-17, will continue with their quest when they face Nakuru RFC at the Impala Club.
