The pair have a remarkable record of winning all 14 of the Grand Slam doubles finals they have contested in the past.
Venus Williams and her sister Serena Williams will headline the women’s doubles event at the 2022 US Open for what could be the last time they play together after receiving a wild card for the final Grand Slam of the year.
23-time Grand Slam Singles champion Serena announced last month that she is "evolving away" from the sport and will most likely play her final tournament at Flushing Meadows.

For the ninth time in their careers, Serena and Venus will play doubles as a pair in New York where they lifted the trophy together in 1999 and 2009.
The Williams sisters have a remarkable record of winning all 14 of the Grand Slam doubles finals they have contested but the last one was back in 2016 at Wimbledon.
They have not played a slam together since the French Open four years ago where they made it through to the last 16.

Apart from taking part in the Doubles, the pair will also be taking part in the their respective Singles event.
Serena, now ranked 608th in the world, will play Montenegro's Danka Kovinic in the first round, and the match headlines the night session on Arthur Ashe Stadium on Monday.
Venus, who has won seven major singles titles and is ranked 1,445th in the world, will face Belgium's Alison van Uytvanck in her opener on Tuesday after being given a wild card.
The US Open takes place from 29 August to 11 September 2022.
