Obuya Academy A won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a respectable total of 144/5 in the allotted 20 overs.
Ken Mwangi was the top scorer for Obuya Academy A, smashing 52 runs off 33 deliveries, including 2 fours and 4 sixes.
Former Kenya international player Collins Obuya also made a significant contribution, scoring 40 runs off 36 balls, with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes.
Mwangi's impressive performance also marked a milestone in his career, as he completed 1000 career runs.

In another Division One match, Sir Ali B thumped Kenya Kongonis A by 87 runs.

Ngara B edged out Shree Cutchi Leva Patel Samaj (SCLPS B) by 5 runs in a closely contested match.
Ngara B scored 127/10 in 18.5 overs, while SCLPS B fell short with 122/8 in 20 overs.
Ruaraka B cruised to an 8-wicket win over Sikh Union B. Sikh Union B scored 134/10 in 20 overs, while Ruaraka B chased down the target with ease, scoring 136/2 in 17 overs.
Obuya B shines with 8-run win over Vardhan
In a Division Two encounter, Obuya Academy B emerged victorious against Vardhan Academy, winning by 8 runs.
The Obuya siblings played a crucial role in their team's success, with David Obuya scoring 41 runs off 23 balls and Kennedy Otieno Obuya contributing 40 runs off 25 deliveries.
Obuya Academy B posted a strong total of 176/8 in 20 overs, setting Vardhan Academy a challenging target.
Vardhan Academy put up a good fight, scoring 168/6 in 20 overs, but ultimately fell short.
