The top six teams at the end of the men’s regular season feature in the Super Cup playoffs.
Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) men's league continues on Saturday 30 July with the highlight of the day being a clash between former champions Black Mamba and General Service Unit (GSU).
Mamba are going for a sixth consecutive win but the paramilitary side will not make it easy for them as they will also be chasing an untainted record.
GSU have lost once, to Strathmore University, in the five matches played so far. Last weekend, the soldiers picked a convincing 41-23 victory against Boomerang and are out to continue the streak.
Another thriller is in the offing as Technical University of Kenya (TUK) play Buccaneers. The latter is out to avenge last season's defeat to the varsity side, a loss that saw them miss a playoff slot.
"We lost to TUK last season in a 32-28 outcome, but this time round we have everything to fight. Our eyes are set on a top-six finish so we can feature in the Super Cup so this is a victory we need," offered Buccaneers Stower Radzi.
Buccaneers are coming off a 28-25 loss to Ulinzi last weekend and before then a 34-31 and 20-18 defeats by Thika Engineers and Strathmore University respectively.
The other matches will see defending champions National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) play Young City while top-placed Ulinzi take on school boys Inspired who are opening their season on Saturday.
The second stage of the Olympic Solidarity Development of National Sports System programme for 🇰🇪 Kenya was held in early July 💯 23 coaches participated in the course, learning new working methods and handball tactics 💪
