Equity Bank are this afternoon scheduled to take on University of Nairobi's Terror in one of three Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) men's league matches set to play today.

The bankers have revamped their squad ahead of the season and will have hard-fighting Terror for their first test after raiding other teams for top talent, adding six to the squad.

Equity's top addition to the could is easily Morans and former Thunder forward Faheem Juma whose scoring prowess is set to help Equity break the jinx of the playoff quarters and make it to the last four and beyond.

Another former Thunder player, Shem Omuta is likely to suit up for Equity in the match having decamped to the money bags.

Additionally, Davis Siaji who has been touted as an elite scorer but more lethal on defense joined the bankers from relegated United States International University (USIU) as well as his teammate Fredrick Onono and Strathmore Blades' Joseph Ongoro. Completing coach David Maina's signings is Chrispin Abuto from Lakeside.

In another men's league match, champions Ulinzi Warriors are chasing their fourth straight win against Blades. The two sides are yet to experience defeat in the league. In Saturday's match, Blades beat Umoja 65-41 while Warriors thrashed Kenya College of Accountancy-University (KCA-U) 96-42.

Meanwhile, Thunder play another varsity side KenyattaUniversity (K.U) Pirates in the final men's Premier league match of the day as the former look to pick their third win of the season against the students.

Former champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) play away in Kisumu against Lakeside who have lost three consecutive matches, including a 68-66 loss to Eldonets in a Saturday fixture.

In the women's league Equity Bank Hawks open their season against Africa Nazarene University (ANU) who chanced upon the premier league after Masaku Sparks withdrew from the top tier.

Another match will see former champions KPA women take on Kisumu Lady Bucks away at the Manyatta Arab in Kisumu.
