Just like the delayed Tokyo Olympics in 2021, the Kenyan team did not record a win in either a set or a match.
Kenya's beach volleyball duo of Gaudencia Makokha and Bracksides Agala were eliminated from the ongoing 13th edition of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Rome, Italy, on Monday after losing their last pool match to Poland against the Polish pair of Katarzyna Kociolek and Kinga Wojtasik.
The duo lost their last Pool L match against Poland by straight sets (21-8,21-17) to finish bottom of the pool with just three points.

They were in search of a win, at least in a set, but it was not meant to be having had suffered back-to-back defeats in the opening two matches of the championship.
Kenya was participating in the Championship only for the second time, the first appearance being in 2017 when Makokha and Naomi Too competed in Austria.
Agala and Makokha suffered their second defeat on Sunday to Germany, losing by straight sets (21-11,21-13) to Germany's Karla Berger and Julia Sude.

Before that, they had lost the opening match to hosts Italy on Friday being beaten by Claudia Scampoli and Margherita Blanchin 2-0 (21-8,21-9).
Kenya coach Patrick Owino termed the outing a good experience but insisted that going forward they have to get adequate training prior to any event.
“It’s the end of the road for us. It has been a good experience meeting and watching the top flight teams in the sport from all over the world. Lessons learnt and we must invest in good preparations going forward,” he is quoted saying on Nation Sport.
