LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Dirk Nowitzki, and Wilt Chamberlain—now joined by Kevin Durant. This is the exclusive 30,000-point club, where these legendary players have surpassed this milestone in their long and highly successful careers.
The Phoenix Suns’ forward, a two-time NBA champion and two-time Finals MVP, reached the 30,000-point mark in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies, needing 26 points to achieve this feat. He ended up scoring 34 points against the Grizzlies, securing his place among basketball’s immortals, as the saying goes for the sport’s greatest legends.

Durant reached his 26th point from the free-throw line with a minute and a half left in the third quarter, receiving applause from the entire arena. The NBA immediately congratulated him on social media for this incredible accomplishment. However, despite the milestone, he wasn't celebrating at the end of the game, as the Phoenix Suns lost at home to Memphis, 119-112.
The Suns played without Bradley Beal, while Devin Booker had a subpar performance, which proved costly for Mike Budenholzer’s team. Serbian national team member Vasilije Micic did not play due to an ankle injury, as the team announced in a medical report before the game.

Aside from Durant’s milestone, there wasn’t much else noteworthy from this game, as the Grizzlies secured a routine victory. They led by 10 points after the first quarter and by 12 at halftime, never relinquishing their advantage throughout the game. Memphis was the stronger team on the night and justified their status as favorites.
Ja Morant led the Grizzlies to victory with 26 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, followed by Desmond Bane with 20 points and eight rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 17 points, while Brandon Clarke and Santi Aldama contributed 14 points each.
For the Suns, aside from Durant, standout performances came from Bol Bol, who recorded 18 points and 14 rebounds, Devin Booker with 17 points and nine assists, Tyus Jones with 11 points and nine assists, and Royce O’Neale, who also scored 11 points.
