The Brooklyn Nets are trading their superstar forward and one of the best NBA players in the previous decade and a half Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for a package including Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks, and a 2028 pick swap, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
This comes less than a week after the Nets dealt star guard Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks in a multi-player deal after he requested a trade out of Brooklyn.

Durant, 34, has been sidelined since January 8 with a knee injury that is expected to keep him out through the All-Star Break. Before the injury, he had another incredible season, averaging 29.7 points per game on 55.9 per cent shooting and 37.6 per cent from beyond the arc. Brooklyn sits fifth in the Eastern Conference at 32-22.
Durant originally requested a trade from the Nets over the summer but no deal was reached, and he eventually rescinded his request in August.
He was selected No. 2 overall in the 2007 draft and spent his first nine seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He joined the Warriors in 2016, winning two championships alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, before joining the Nets as a free agent four summers ago. Irving signed with Brooklyn at the same time, prompting lofty expectations for the Nets that never ended up materializing.
KD is a 13-time All-Star, a 10-time member of the All-NBA Team and was the league MVP in 2014.
