This was a weekend where glitz, glamour, and high-stakes drama collided under the neon lights
The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix delivered thrills both on and off the track, as pop superstar Beyonce made a dazzling paddock appearance while championship drama unfolded for Lando Norris and McLaren.
Beyonce, arriving alongside Jay-Z, was a vision of race-ready glamour in a custom Louis Vuitton jumpsuit, zipped to the neckline, as she strolled through the paddock ahead of Sunday's race. The Houston-born singer didn't just watch from the sidelines - she hopped into a Ferrari supercar with Lewis Hamilton for a high-speed hot lap, capturing the moment on Instagram with the cheeky caption: "Give it to Mama."

Hamilton, long a bridge between F1 and pop culture, reunited with the couple on the grid, sparking excitement among fans and photographers. Jay-Z, in all black, accompanied Beyonce as the duo navigated the garages and hospitality suites, adding star power to an already entertainment-heavy weekend.
The Las Vegas stop, which debuted in 2023, has quickly become one of the sport's most glamorous events, drawing an array of celebrities, including Travis Scott, Magic Johnson, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gordon Ramsay, and Ciara. The city's neon lights and high-octane glamour blurred the line between Formula 1 racing and a full-scale cultural festival.

But the off-track spectacle couldn't distract from the on-track drama. Championship leader Lando Norris and his teammate Oscar Piastri were disqualified after the race for technical infringements - both McLarens' skid blocks measured below the minimum depth. Norris had initially crossed the line in second behind Red Bull's Max Verstappen, with Piastri fourth, only for the stewards to strip them of their results.
The fallout shakes up the championship standings: Norris retains a 24-point lead over both Piastri and Verstappen heading into the penultimate race in Qatar, which will feature a sprint. With a maximum of 58 points available across the final two events, Norris could secure the title in Qatar by outscoring both rivals by just two points.
From Beyonce cruising at speed with Hamilton to the shock disqualification of McLaren, the Las Vegas GP proved why this stop on the calendar is as thrilling for celebrities as it is for racing fans - a weekend where glitz, glamour, and high-stakes drama collide under the neon lights.
