In December of last year, Isco had a bad relationship with Sevilla, sports director Monchi attacked him, and later he was played by Union Berlin, with whom he had everything agreed upon. Betis took advantage of that, although the fans initially did not want Isco to wear the green and white jersey, because he previously defended the colors of the city rival. The club management listened to Manuel Pellegrini, however, Isco was offered a one-year contract. The midfielder accepted it, and a special clause was inserted. Whoever wants to buy it, will have to pay 10,000,000 euros, the Spanish media write. Admittedly, the Verdiblancos secured themselves for a short period of time, only for January.

If there is no extension of cooperation, Isco will become a free agent in the summer, so the buyout clause is there only in case someone bites in the next transfer window and tries to take Isco away from Benito Villamarin after only six months.
