Lucrative bonus for saying hi to the crowd!? It doesn't get much crazier than that, but there's a man who claims that's true

We know, this must be a joke... That's what you're probably thinking after reading that headline, but according to former Crystal Palace player Lewis Bryon it's actually notning but the truth.

When Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 from Barcelona for a still-record €222 million, the Brazilian became the highest paid footballer in history of football.

Now, Bryon - currently working at Crystal Palace academy as a coach - claims that the PSG's deal with him included one more ludicrous clause.

"The maddest clause I've ever heard of was Neymar's at PSG," Bryon told English journalists. "During a coaching course, I met a PSG staff member, whose name I won't reveal. He told me Neymar earned €200,000 every time he went to greet fans after a game."

We sincerely hope this is just a fake rumour because it's unbelievable that someone was actually willing to pay a player to say hi to the crowd.
