Wolves' black spot and Kluivert's lucky day

Reading Time: 2min | Sat. 30.11.24. | 20:26

Wolverhampton conceded three penalties in a defeat against Bournemouth (4-2), allowing Justin Kluivert to become the first EPL player with a spot-kick hat-trick

In the 32 years of the Premier League, we've seen numerous unbelievable achievements, but this day will go down in history as the day we got the first hat-trick scorer, who netted all of his goals from the penalty spot!

In Bournemouth's 4-2 triumph against the Wolves at Molineux Stadium, the home team conceded as many as three penalties, while the Cherries' Justin Kluivert - son of renowned Dutch forward Patrick - converted each of them.

Apart from becoming a part of Premier League history, Kluivert will remember November 30 as his lucky day, as he'll probably never score a more effortless hat-trick. Moreover, he could send some gifts to the Wolves' defender Toti Gomes and custodian Jose Sa, who made reckless fouls (the keeper deserved a double treat), and of course, his teammate Evanilson, who went down in the box in each of the three situations!
