Kenyan Internationals Musa Mohammed and Duncan Otieno are yet to return to Zambia to link up with their club Lusaka Dynamos after the international break.
Duncan Otieno was part of the Harambee Stars squad that faced Eqypt and Togo in AFCON Qualifiers while Musa Mohammed used the international break to visit friends and family in Nairobi.
The duo however is however yet to report back at Lusaka and according to a reliable source who sought anonymity, they are owed salaries and allowances for over two months.
“The club (Lusaka Dynamos) is currently in a fix financially and this is the main reason the two are still in Kenya. The club’s top management have promised to clear their arrears soon. They will only be back in Zambia once that’s done,” the source, who is close to both players, revealed.
Duncan Otieno’s move to Lusaka Dynamos was itself surrounded with a lot of controversy as he had just rejoined AFC Leopards from Nkana only to move Lusaka a few days later.
Duncan Otieno has lashed out at AFC Leopards over claims that his transfer to Lusaka Dynamos was unprocedural.
