While waiting for reinforcements from England, Napoli and Roma each face probable relegation-strugglers tonight

After Romelu Lukaku suffered a severe injury, Napoli desperately sought a striker, as their only option was the recent acquisition from Udinese, Lorenzo Lucca. The 24-year-old failed to score in the opening Serie A round, and although the Neapolitans won, it was clear they needed a net-buster urgently.

And they found one in Manchester, as Rasmus Hojlund has agreed to return to the Boot. Napoli will bring the Dane on a loan deal with an obligation to buy him for €45 million.

Although he won't be able to play tonight against Cagliari (21.45), the 22-year-old will be a valuable asset for Antonio Conte's crew in its title-defending campaign.

However, Hojlund won't be the only player who'll change the Premier League with the Serie A, as Liverpool's Kostas Tsimikas is on the verge of joining AS Roma, also on loan.

The Greek arrived at Anfield five years ago from Olympiacos for €13 million, and although he initially wasn't ready to leave Liverpool, he ultimately agreed to move to Stadio Olimpico.

He made 115 appearances for the Reds, recording 18 assists, and he'll compete with the Spaniard Angelino for a spot in Gian Piero Gasperini's starting XI.

Roma will face Serie A newcomers Pisa tonight at the same time as Napoli in pursuit of their second victory of the season.
