Chelsea is a cultural melting pot and a land of differences
Thomas Tuchel is trying to reconstruct Chelsea. Frank Lampard had the team in a bad form before being sacked but it was far from leaving a talentless group over to the German.
Within that group, there is a newcomer who is eager to work under the vocal manager who is imposing a flexible style of football and to prove himself in arguably the best league in the world - Timo Werner.
Chelsea striker insists he has no problem with Thomas Tuchel screaming at him from the touchline - because it gives him “more power” on the pitch.
Werner has struggled since completing a £54million move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, despite arriving with a lethal reputation after scoring 34 goals in 45 games for RB Leipzig last season.
The Germany striker has only scored five Premier League goals in 28 games so far, although his general form has admittedly improved under new head coach Tuchel.
Tuchel has got off to a flyer since replacing Frank Lampard in the Blues hot-seat at the end of January, avoiding defeat in his first 14 games in charge.
The former PSG and Borussia Dortmund gaffer is a lively character on the touchline and can often be seen bellowing orders to his players.

“It’s no problem for me when he screams at us on the pitch,” the 25-year-old told Match of the Day. “I need a manager who screams at me. It gives me more power.
“I had the same at Leipzig - I’ve always had managers who have shouted rom the sidelines and pushed me on.”
“I understand every word he says and I think he understand every word when I talk to him, which makes it very easy for me." Werner added:
“In German, I’m very good - German is a good language for me.”
Werner admits his debut season at Chelsea has been a difficult one, but stresses that he remains determined to help the team.
“When you don’t score as a striker, it’s always tough,” he continued.
“I want to help the team and I want to score, because that’s my nature - I’m a striker. Winning games is the most important thing, but after that, it’s scoring.”
On the other hand, a player who has been at Stamford Bridge since the Maurizio Sarri era is failing to adapt to the UK climate and atmosphere. Italian midfielder Jorginho thinks the people in the UK do not know what sun is.
Chelsea playmaker has aimed a dig at the weather in England and left the door open for a return to Napoli at some stage in the future.
The Brazil-born Italy international is in his third season at Stamford Bridge, having followed Maurizio Sarri to west London in the summer of 2018.
He has seen a retracing of steps to Serie A mooted at regular intervals and has admitted that he is still struggling to get to grips with the inclement conditions in Britain.
Jorginho (©Alex Pantling/Gallo Images)Jorginho has been speaking to Canale21 and was asked what Napoli means to him.
“There are no words to describe how much I miss Naples." he said: “Who wouldn’t miss Naples? It’s so cold in London, they don’t even know what the sun is!”
The 29-year-old is tied to terms through to 2023. It remains to be seen whether that deal will be honoured, but a regular role is being nailed down under Thomas Tuchel.
Jorginho has taken in 126 appearances for Chelsea, with 16 goals recorded across those outings. Jorginho’s agent, Jorge Santos, has admitted that a second stint at Napoli could happen.
He is waiting to see what upcoming transfer windows bring, with any approaches set to be mulled over.
“If Napoli will make an offer, we’ll evaluate it." Santos has told Radio Marte. “He had a great time in Naples and he has many friends over there.”
Jorginho spent five years with Napoli from 2013, making 160 appearances and earning international recognition with the Azzurri.
