The defensive midfielder has disputed claims doing rounds that he has left K'Ogalo

The longest-serving player in K’Ogalo’s current set-up has boycotted training sessions in recent weeks and grapevine is rife that he’s left the club.

He is among the senior players that did not travel with the team to Bungoma for the FKFPL match against Nzoia Sugar this afternoon. Others include speedy winger Boniface Omondi and striker Benson Omala.

Wendo however has told Mozzart Sport that he sought permission from the club to attend to private family issues.

“I sought permission to settle some family issues and will be back to the team soon. I have come across news suggesting that I have left the club as a free agent which is not factual as I still have a year remaining in my contract,” said the former Bidco United midfielder.
