Red Devils face Real Sociedad in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League last 16
Manchester United are facing a serious challenge on Thursday night as they visit Real Sociedad in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.
The UEL is United's last remaining hope of winning silverware this season. They finished the preliminary part of the campaign third in the standings, automatically qualifying for the knockout stage.
Tonight, Ruben Amorim will be without injured Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte, resulting in serious changes in the back line.
Onana will stand between the sticks and the back three will be comprised of Matthijs de Ligt, Leny Yoro and - surprisingly - Victor Lindelof. The latter last started a game for United on December 19.
The Swedish defender has been out of the action for quite some time, but his experience could prove efficient in a game of such importance.
Bruno Fernandes will start alongside Casemiro in midfield, as Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu are expected in the wing-back positions.
In attack, United are seriously struggling for options, as Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho will offer support to Rasmus Hojlund.
