UEFA CONFERENCE LEAGUE 1/8 finals draw: Leicester and Roma walk down a tricky path

Foxes will face Rennais, Marseille await Basel and Mourinho has Dutch Vitesse ahead of him
It could be said the biggest clash of the UEFA Conference League 1/8 finals will happen between Leicester City and Rennais. The two clubs that are among the favorites to win the trophy and their meeting is, at least on paper, the most interesting pairing in the last 16 Conference League draw.
Other interesting match-ups drawn at Nyon are Marseille vs Basel and Vitesse vs Roma. Things are not going that well in Serie A so Jose Mourinho will for sure take the opportunity to bring a European trophy to the capital of Italy. In the south of France, Marseille are catching up with Jorge Sampaoli's philosophy and as a result sit second in Ligue 1. It will be hard for Swiss side Basel to proceed further if the Velodrome squad play their best.

Along with Vitesse, there are three more Dutch sides in this part of the competition. AZ Alkmaar will play against this year's biggest surprise - Bodo/Glimt (humiliated Mourinho's Roma in the group stage 6-1), once continental giants Feyenoord await Serbian Partizan Belgrade and Ajax's biggest rivals in Eredivisie - PSV Eindhoven - will meet Danish Copenhagen.
Greek outfit PAOK will go head to head against Belgian Gent and Czech side Slavia Prague have Austrian LASK as their next opponent.
Matches will be played on the 10th and 17th of March.
