Trossard's hat-trick torments Reds, Auba and Gallagher direct Chelsea's comeback at Selhurst Park

This was a super-exciting Saturday in the Premier League with lots of unexpected outcomes

Brighton and Hove Albion recently said goodbye to their much-loved coach Graham Potter known for some spectacular wins against the Premier League giants, but it seems the Seagulls are still flying high, staying on the pathway Potter laid out.

Thanks to Leandro Trossard's sensational hat-trick at Anfield, Brighton managed to grab a critical draw, 3-3. Despite being two up after only 17 minutes, the Seagulls saw that two-goal lead slip through their fingers thanks to Roberto Firmino's brace and woeful own-goal in the second half.

At first, dispirited Liverpool were stunned by Trossard's attacking arsenal, struggling to create any chances for the vast part of the first half. However, Firmino was having none of that, bagging a goal in each half to bring the game to a stalemate. That third for the Reds' seemed to be Brighton's knock-out, but Trossard stepped up again in this real rollercoaster and fired perfectly to make it even-steven again, for 3-3.

On the other hand, Graham Potter's new club, Chelsea, made a splendid comeback against Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace, after going one down shortly after the kick-off, 2-1.

Edouard put the hosts in front before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted in his trademark manner to level the score. And just when the clock was ticking the dying minutes of the clash, Crystal Palace's former apprentice Connor Gallagher (who spent the last season at Selhurst Park on loan) launched a genuine screamer from mid-range to provide the Blues with a massively important away win.
