Tottenham on stand-by for Traore - Barca come-back dream and Dembele's decision

In the last couple of hours, according to the Spanish media, Traore again became an option for Barcelona to strengthen the right flank. Catalan Sport writes that agent Jorge Mendes offered his client as an alternative in December in case Ousmane Dembele leaves Nou Camp - Adama agreed to return to the club where he grew up but the job has remained stagnant ever since.

Even then, Mendes told the Barcelona management that they could get Traore for 24.5 million USD, and that he could reduce the amount if they extend Trincao's - another of his clients' - loan at Molineux, that is if they included the Portuguese player in the whole deal.

During a several-hour conversation with Xavi, the agent of the French football player made it clear to the Barcelona coach that Dembele wants to stay at the Nou Camp, where a new five-year contract awaits him.

The Catalans made it clear, they have set a deadline for the final answer by the end of January because they want to leave themselves little time to find a replacement if the answer is negative. If Dembele does not agree to the extension of cooperation, they will try to sell him in January so as not to lose the player for free.
