England fail to win at Wembley after conceding an early penalty. John Stones scored the only goal for Gareth Southgate's side
England were more than favourites against a modest Hungarian team, but the stalemate was the only one they could get tonight in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying tie.
Straight from the kick-off, it was apparent the visitors were not up to surrender and were capable of surprise, especially after that Roland Sallai's penalty 24 minutes into the game.

The fact they conceded one didn't worry Southgate's boys, who levelled the score relatively soon, following John Stones' smooth tap-in on the far post after free-kick from the right.
And when everyone expected EURO 2020 runners-up to gain control of the game, the nasty Hungarians demonstrated they might be underdogs but won't withdraw for a second.

Kane, Saka and others were eager to come in front but missed a couple of chances to avoid a massive surprise regarding the final score.
Nevertheless, the Three Lions have nothing to worry about, with 20 points at the top of Group I. The group's other match - Albania vs Poland - was suspended a few minutes before the end due to crowd trouble. Albanian fans hit Polish players with the bottles of water after visitors scored the game's only goal.

On the other hand, Denmark are only the second European side, after Germany, to already book their spot for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They did it in such an impressive way, with all eight victories and without a single goal conceded. Wow!
