Easy victory for England against Bosnia and Herzegovina (3-0)

England brushed aside Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 at St. James' Park on Monday night as part of the preparations for the upcoming EURO 2024.

The Three Lions' manager, Gareth Southgate, gave a chance to some players who were previously not in the foreground in the national team and they repaid with a good game. England's manager opted to leave several first team players on the bench, such as Kane, Grealish, Maddison and Rice, while some players like Bellingham, Saka, Stones and Walker were not even in the squad.

The only standard first-team player in the starting lineup was the goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Kieran Trippier, Ezri Konsa, Lewis Dunk and Marc Guehi were in the defensive line, while Conor Gallagher and Trent Alexander-Arnold, in a completely new role compared to the one in Liverpool, were central midfielders. Eberechi Eze, Cole Palmer and Jarrod Bowen composed the attacking midfield, whereas the only striker was Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.

England have dominated the match from the beginning, but Watkins, Gallagher, Bowen and Guehi missed some excellent chances, thus the first half ended without goals. Perhaps the most active player in the first period was Crystal Palace's Eze who proved to be a significant option in the offense, showing that Southgate would have a sweet torment when choosing the starting XI for the EURO.

After one hour of play, England broke the deadlock when Chelsea's Palmer scored a penalty. After that, many players from the bench, including Kane and Grealish, got the chance. However, the home team had to wait for the second goal until the 85th minute when Alexander-Arnold fired a fantastic volley. Only four minutes later, Kane netted his 63rd goal in the national team and set the final score, 3-0.
