The race at the top tightens as nothing separates the top two.
Former Kenya Women Premier League (WPL) champions Thika Queens are away in Luanda where they face off with Bunyore Starlest in a revenge-seeking mission.
One of Thika Queens’ losses this season came in the hands of Bunyore early on in the first leg but the Fred Majani-coached side has since found their footing and are contesting for the title.
Queens will look to keep the chase at the top tight with a win. Currently, the side trails holders Vihiga Queens and leaders Gaspo Women by four points and victory would bring the difference back to one.
On Saturday, holders Vihiga played for a 3-0 win at home against Kayole Starlets to take their points tally to 28 while Gaspo picked a massive 6-1 victory over relegation-threatened Kangemi Ladies to level the goal difference against the champions.
We take back our TOP position as we return to the APEX of the league standings.

Sparks started their second leg on a losing note, going down to Cup holders Ulinzi Starlets by a solitary goal and are keen to return to winning ways. So far, they have won four, drawing and losing a similar number in the 12 outings so far.
