Argentina boss was furious after a remarkable game with Morocco

The Argentinians were joyful and celebrating – in vain. They thought it was over, that they had been saved by a goal in deep stoppage time. They ran to the locker rooms after the Moroccan fans invaded the pitch, throwing firecrackers. Two hours later, they had to return because Christian Medina's goal was disallowed.

In the meantime, the referees reviewed the footage and, probably using video technology, determined that they had made an oversight, that there was an offside, and decided to call the teams back?! The Argentinians and Moroccans had to go back on the field to play a few more minutes. The South American team did not manage to shake the opponent's net again, and the match ended with a score of 2-1. All of this enraged coach Javier Mascherano.

The former Barcelona and Liverpool player was furious after the game.

Yesterday, they broke into our premises, Almada's belongings were stolen! They demand that we accredit everything, and then such things happenMascherano said. Argentina's boss also revealed some details of what had been happening in the previous days and moved on to the events of the match and the two-hour delay:

“They invaded the field seven times, they threw firecrackers at us. They told us it ended 2-2. Even Morocco didn’t want to play. This is the biggest circus I have ever seen in my life” Javier Mascherano was furious.
