THESE two Gunners have become managers. Feel old yet?

Reading Time: 2min | Wed. 23.04.25. | 16:33

They debuted for Arsenal in the EPL the same day - on September 13, 2008. Seventeen years later, they both got their first managerial jobs in the span of just three days and will face each other soon in a high-stakes clash!

Back in 2008, they were both moved to Arsenal's senior squad. Each of them went on two loans before returning to their home, to Emirates. And even though they couldn't help the Gunners break their "Premier League curse," Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey will forever remain in the fondest memories of the London side's fans.

After all, they gave the club 21 years combined, and that must be appreciated and respected.

Both Arsenal and Premier League fans watched them grow up under Arsene Wenger and become one of the best midfield duos in the EPL, and now they'll see them in a whole new role.

Wilshere and Ramsey debuted in the Premier League the same day - on September 13, 2008, against Blackburn. Seventeen years later, both of them got their first managerial jobs in the span of just three days!

Four days ago, Cardiff City sacked Turkish tactician Omer Riza and announced that player Aaron Ramsey would take over the head coach position in the final three Championship rounds.

Yesterday, Norwich City boss Johannes Hoff Thorup got fired, and his assistant, Jack Wilshere, became the Canaries' interim manager.

To make things as wild as it gets, the two teams will face each other in the Championship's ultimate round, and things could get pretty complicated as Cardiff are in a fierce relegation battle while Norwich are safe.

In theory, Wilshere could directly relegate the Bluebirds and their boss, his former teammate, sending them to League One. But even if that happened, it surely wouldn't jeopardize the friendship between Arsenal's children - the popular Jacky Boy and Rambo.
