There can be only one: Spain and Croatia collide in the Nations League final

Rodri and Luka Modric will lead their respective sides in the showdown that promises nothing but fireworks

Check this out - in the last three encounters between Spain and Croatia we saw no less than impressive 19 goals altogether! Wow.

5-3, 2-3, and 6-0 for Spain, to be precise.

Therefore, don't ask us who'll win on Sunday night in the UEFA Nations League showdown, but you can take it to the bank that we won't see a goalless match. Both teams rely on some fantastic midfielders and forwards, don't hesitate to engage in the opposite half and are reluctant to spend the entire game cautiously looking not to concede.

Spain outclassed Italy in the semis and are probably a tad bit closer to winning the silverware than the also amazing Croats, who thumped the Dutch team on their soil to reach another final after the 2018 FIFA World Cup (last year, Argentina stopped them in the semi-final).

It's needless to say that all eyes will be on Rodri and Luka Modric, who are both among the Top 5 midfielders in the world for sure. They dictate their teams' course, respectively, and the battle between the two aces will affect the eventual outcome.

Croats might feel more comfortable, though, as they experienced playing at the same venue (De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam) a few days ago and will probably have a larger crowd to support them than the Spaniards.

In case of a draw after 90 minutes, two 15-minute intervals of extra time would follow, with a penalty shootout as the last possible tiebreaker to decide who'll climb up the throne.
